Job Summary A company based in Baku, operating in financial markets, is seeking a Capital Market Operations Specialist with a strong foundation in financial markets and treasury operations, including bonds, Eurobonds, shares, currencies and other capital market instruments. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the smooth functioning of operations in the investment processes. The ideal candidate will have academic knowledge in Corporate Finance, Financial Analysis, Investments, and Financial Markets, along with practical experience or certifications such as CFA (Charter Financial Analyst), CFI (Corporate Finance Institute) and proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal. Job location: Crescent Offices
Responsibilities
- Execute capital market operations in both foreign and local financial markets.
- Analyze opportunities in Fixed Income, Rates, and Currency markets to enhance profitability.
- Contribute to the structuring and provision of intergroup loans.
- Perform Fund Transfer Pricing Analysis and credit rating assessment for Group companies Conduct asset-liability management analysis to support investment decision making.
- Maintain relationships with counterparties to secure trading lines and favorable commercial terms.
- Coordinate cash movements between financial institutions to optimize operations and returns.
- Perform bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities within company systems.
- Contribute to generating investment portfolio projections for budgeting and planning purposes.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, financial reports, and operational materials for meetings, and contribute to projects aimed at improving market operations.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Operations team, ensuring seamless business activity execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in treasury or investments departments Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- CFA (Charter Financial Analyst), CFI (Corporate Finance Institute) certificates or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal is a plus.
- A person who is patient, responsible, curious, cooperative with analytical thinking capacity will be a perfect match for the position.
