Responsibilities
- Get to know each student in the homeroom;
- Be available and approachable, setting tones of friendship;
- Encourage students to feel “important” and to be moral persons;
- Monitor behavior, advize and encourage observance of the School Policies; Be knowledgeable of pupil services programs offered by the school;
- Keep accurate records of attendance;
- Take notice of each student’s report and academic progress; Write comments (logs) regarding student`s progress and behavior on a weekly basis;
- Give feedback to the Administration when issues of importance have been discussed;
- Dialogue with Administration, Parents, or with the student’s other teachers when there is concern;
- Report any student with a pattern of late arrival;
- Report to the Psychologist any student with a pattern of behavior problems.
- Background: Bachelor`s degree is a must;
- 1+ years of experience as a teacher;
- Proficiency in spoken and written english;
- Experience in working at International/English speaking schools is a plus.
