Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification or eligibility for certification.
- Demonstrated proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
- All classroom instruction, communication, and documentation are conducted in English.
- Experience teaching music to students across multiple grade levels is highly desirable.
- Experience working in an international school setting is an asset.

Responsibilities
- Instruction Deliver a high-quality American music curriculum for students from Kindergarten through High School.
- Develop engaging lesson plans that address music theory, vocal music, instrumental music, rhythm, movement, composition, music appreciation, and performance.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Foster creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong appreciation for music.
- Student Assessment Assess student learning using a variety of formal and informal methods.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Assign grades and complete report cards in accordance with school policies.
- Communicate student progress effectively with parents and school administration.
- Classroom Environment Establish and maintain excellent classroom management that promotes respect, responsibility, and active participation.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment where students are encouraged to take creative risks.
- Maintain high expectations for student behavior and musical excellence.
- Performance and Production Leadership Plan, organize, direct, and produce large-scale school performances involving students from multiple grade levels.
- Coordinate concerts, musical productions, holiday performances, assemblies, graduation ceremonies, and other special events.
- Lead rehearsals efficiently while maintaining high artistic standards.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to ensure successful school-wide productions.
- School Community Support Provide musical support for school ceremonies, celebrations, assemblies, cultural events, and community activities.
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers and administrators to integrate music into school initiatives when appropriate.
